Adam Gilks is a football/soccer blogger based in Bristol, England. A Masters graduate of Loughborough University, he works in marketing and spends the majority of his free time obsessing over the beautiful game.
At weekends, Adam plays for Cotswool Football Club in the Bristol Downs League. As well as being a keen amateur footballer, he has also coached youth football at a range of age groups from under-8’s through to under-15’s.
Adam is a recovering Football Manager addict and has reached ’1 week of game play’ in multiple editions of the popular Sports Interactive franchise. It is estimated that he has lost several months of his life to the game.
He has experienced matches in England, Germany, Wales, Spain, France, Belgium, Israel and the U.S.A. Outside of football, his passions include travelling, photography and motorsport.
Feedback, comments and debate are welcome, as long as you’re not a moron.
